The MAP Method™ (Make Anything Possible™) is a scientifically validated technique that helps you clear conscious and unconscious roadblocks that are keeping you from being your best self. MAP helps you align with your goals and desires, allowing you to create the life that you want.

MAP neutralizes or eliminates unwanted emotions, ruminating thoughts, dis-empowering beliefs, and self-sabotaging behaviors and patterns. MAP can help you gain new insights and increase positive, self-empowering thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and emotions. It does this all easily and gently and can quickly produce results that are long-term and often permanent.

Therapists, coaches, and healers who have studied hypnosis, EMDR, EFT, NLP, etc. have been amazed at how much faster, easier and more gently the MAP Method™ is.

It comes back, it always comes back. The things you didn't deal with, the things you didn't sort out. You can go years and years without thinking about it and then one day, out of the blue, it taps you on the shoulder and says, Oh, hay, remember me?

 

MAP can help you:

  • Neutralize stressful emotions and fears: work and school stress, emotionally charged family or friendship dynamics, fear of public speaking, flying, going to the dentist, etc.
  • Transform negative self-talk and limiting beliefs: I can't..., I don't deserve..., I hate my body..., I'm not good enough, attractive enough..., I'm never going to be able to..., no one loves me..., I can never catch a break..., people are selfish, mean, stupid, etc.
  • Deal with "pet peeves": frustration with traffic, slow drivers, annoying coworkers or supervisors, your neighbor's barking dog, pickleball noises at all hours, etc.
  • Eliminate self-sabotaging behaviors and patterns: perfectionism, making excuses, blaming, controlling, not asking for help, picking fights with family or friends, etc.
  • Neutralize the emotional charge of uncomfortable memories: memories that wont seem to go away or that sometimes pop into your head and cause you to cringe.
  • Resolve inner conflicts: create balance when one part of you wants one thing and another part of you doesn't (the part of me that wants dessert usually wins out over the part that knows how important it is to eat healthy).
  • Take control of your emotions so you can respond instead of react: transform patterns of emotional reactivity, stop ruminating over things, and accept experiences without judgmental or emotional reactivity.
  • Get unstuck: identify unhelpful patterns repeating again and again in your life, and help clear what is keeping you stuck so you can start taking action and move forward.
  • Achieve your goals and desires: identify and eliminate blocks that are holding you back to better align with what you want to achieve and start taking action to make it a reality.

How does MAP work?

MAP Coaching takes advantage of your brain's neuroplasticity, its natural ability to change. Every time we recall a memory, that memory is subject to change. MAP takes advantage of this "window of changeability" by disconnecting the negatively charged emotions associated with specific memories, experiences, or specific topics. Once the charged emotions are diffused, ruminating thoughts and discomfort around the subject are no longer present. You retain awareness of those memories and subjects without the charged emotions affecting you. The MAP Method uses metaphors to teach your subconscious (what we call your superconscious) how to quickly, easily, and gently make these changes. With MAP you are always conscious, aware, and in control during the session. No hypnosis, trance, or other indirect methods are used.

For example, perhaps you feel nervous when you must give a presentation. When giving a presentation, you draw on past experiences. These might include all the skills you need, such as how to organize your thoughts and how to use Zoom or PowerPoint. But unwanted thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and past experiences may show up to the party as well and interfere and cause problems. Maybe you had a bad experience in fifth grade delivering a class presentation. That now-buried memory may be lurking in the background interfering with your ability as an adult to give a presentation. Your "inner critic" might be there too, telling you how lousy you are at public speaking or that you really don't know your subject well enough and are an impostor. Other thoughts might pop into your mind such as "I'm going to freeze and forget what I'm supposed to be saying." You don't have to consciously believe these things are true for them to affect you. All of them may be consciously and unconsciously sabotaging your ability to give your presentation effectively and easily. MAP can help you neutralize and remove this unwanted content, and reinforce positive, self-empowering content in its place.

During your session, you will just be asked to imagine a time when you gave a presentation. You don't even have to share anything out loud if you don't want to. We then enlist your superconscious to disconnect the anxious emotions, negative self-talk, self-limiting beliefs, etc. from your experience of giving presentations. Next, we ask your superconscious to reinforce self-empowering content in its place. While this is happening, you relax and let your superconscious do all the work. We might repeat this process a few times to ensure we have addressed everything. After your superconscious removes all the negative content from your experience, when you give a future presentation, that negative content won't be there affecting you anymore. Your nervousness, negative self-talk, and limiting beliefs are no longer there. Superconscious can even work with unconscious thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and memories, without you needing to experience them for them to change.

MAP as a self-help tool (MAP On-The-Go)

You can learn to use MAP for yourself whenever you need it, in moments of upset, stress, or when undesirable emotions arise. You also can work on behaviors and emotional responses in yourself that you don't like (e.g., negativity about school, work; the way you respond to bad drivers, frustration with neighbors, friends, or family, how you think and feel about food, etc). Use MAP to facilitate your personal development by handling self-limiting or negative emotions, beliefs, and experiences when they arise, and then strengthen positive, self-empowering beliefs in their place. It is truly a powerful healing tool that can serve you for a lifetime.

Monthly Group MAP Subscription - Includes access to the monthly live group MAP sessions as well as recordings of the sessions and other supportive materials that relate to the session topic  $35/ month
